PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe made of an iron-base material in which a sprayed coating having excellent corrosion prevention performance and also free from problems in hygiene is formed on the outside surface.SOLUTION: A corrosion prevention layer is formed on the surface of a pipe made of an iron-base material. The corrosion prevention layer contains a Zn-Sn sprayed coating containing more than 10 mass% to less than 50 mass% Sn, the balance being Zn. Another corrosion prevention layer contains a Zn-Sn-Mg sprayed coating containing more than 10 mass% to less than 50 mass% Sn, and more than 0.01 mass% to less than 5 mass% Mg, the balance being Zn. It is preferable that the sprayed coating of the corrosion prevention layer contains at least one of Ti, Co, Ni and P with the content of each being more than 0.001 mass% to less than 3 mass%. |
