PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator enabling the cooling that is appropriate for a storage amount in the refrigerator.SOLUTION: A refrigerator has a door opening/closing detection means 13 for detecting the opening/closing of a heat insulation door of a storage compartment, a detection unit 16 for detecting the input to a compressor, and a calculation control unit 18 for calculating detection results of the detection unit 16. The calculation control unit 18 estimates the storage amount in the storage compartment, based on the detection results of the door opening/closing detection means 13 and the detection unit 16, so that the cooling appropriate for the storage amount in the compartment becomes possible, and thereby a high fresh-keeping capacity of storage articles can be achieved and also power consumption is controlled by preventing "get cold too much" of the storage articles. |
