PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center console capable of using an armrest as a glove compartment or the like as needed.SOLUTION: A center console 1 has an armrest 11 on the top face of a console box 4. The armrest 11 is disposed on one face of a base body 10 detachable on the top face of the console box 4, and the other face of the base body 10 is formed as a functional face, such as a tray 12 or a mobile phone holder 13. On the top face of the console box 4, a recessed portion 25 is formed, and the base body 10 is fitted into the recessed portion 25. On the peripheral face of the base body 10, an engagement pin 14 capable of appearing and retreating in the plane direction is formed. The engagement pin 14 is engaged with an engagement hole 26 formed in an inner-peripheral wall of the recessed portion 25, thereby stably holding the base body 10 in the recessed portion 25. |
