PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a (meth)acrylate ester, which uses a ketone having a bulky group as a starting raw material, and can produce the (meth)acrylate ester in excellent yield.SOLUTION: A method for producing a (meth)acrylate ester includes reacting an addition reaction product of an organometal compound and a ketone with a (meth)acrylic acid halide in the presence of a tertiary amine to thereby produce a (meth)acrylate ester represented by formula (5). |
