<p>The present invention is equipped with: a shaft which is mounted to a crank in a freely rotatable manner; a ratchet pawl swingably arranged on the shaft; a ratchet receiving tooth fixed to the crank so as to catch the ratchet pawl; a ratchet spring fixed to the shaft so as to cause the ratchet pawl to swing; a ratchet control lever connected to the ratchet spring and slidably arranged on the shaft; and a shoe-fixing hook fixed to the shaft. A cycling shoe is fixed to the shaft by the shoe-fixing hook coupling with a fastener fixed to the cycling shoe. The force from stretching the ankle is transmitted as force to rotate the crank via the the cycling shoe and the shaft. Thus, muscles for moving the ankle, focusing on the calf, can be use as rotational force for the crank.</p> |
