QUERY BASED SEARCH ENGINE FOR OBJECTS WITH BINARY CHARACTERISTICS

A system and method for query based search for searching objects with binary characteristics are disclosed. The system supports search of objects having binary characteristics or a combination of binary and non-binary characteristics using a dialogue process of query or initial selection from the user, followed by a series of reverse queries from the engine eliciting response from the user, which helps in narrowing down the choices to provide optimal solutions. The system allows a user to even choose those characteristics of an object which the user is generally not aware of upfront before starting the search. Such characteristics are displayed by the system during reverse iterations. The system being dialogue based lends itself for natural language based implementation and allows people with disabilities to search within short time by answering the queries instead of going through several pages of results using various keywords.
