UE TO UE INTERFERENCE MITIGATION IN ASYMMETRIC LTE DEPLOYMENT

Interference mitigation solutions are disclosed for interference experienced in user equipment (UE) to UE transmission based on asymmetric uplink (UL)/downlink (DL) slot configuration. The aggressor/victim UEs are identified using condition quality measurements, such that the cell set whose UL reception may be impacted by aggressor UE UL transmission is identified. Inter Cell Interference Coordination (ICIC) mechanisms are extended to negotiate and address scheduling that intelligently mitigates interference that occurs in the colliding slots.
