PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a polymer which effectively removes a metal residue of Li and/or Ti from a polymer solution containing at least Li and/or Ti, and obtains a purified polymer solution having a few metal residue.SOLUTION: A production method of a polymer includes a step 1 of preparing a polymer solution containing at least Li and/or Ti, a step 2 of obtaining a mixed liquid by adding and mixing water, an oxidant and an organic acid compound having one carboxy group to/with the polymer solution, and a step 3 of removing the water phase from the mixed liquid to obtain a purified polymer solution. |
