PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable operation of a system for controlling and operating a plurality of media processing devices irrespective of different specifications for the respective devices.SOLUTION: A compound machine 100 comprises: a roll paper printing part 120; a first interface 110 for receiving data including a command transmitted from a POS terminal 20; a conversion part 157 for converting a command included in received data into a first execution command that is executed at the roll paper printing part 120 or a second execution command that is executed at a printer 200; a second interface 115 for transmitting data including the converted second execution command to the printer 200; and a control part 150 for, on the basis of the converted command, switching to a first operation mode in which the first execution command is executed at the roll paper printing part 120 or a second operation mode in which data including the second execution command is transmitted to the printer 200 by the second interface 115. |
