PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed stretched plastic bottle exhibiting excellent light-shielding properties.SOLUTION: In a foamed stretched plastic bottle having a foamed region in a barrel part, in which foam cells are distributed inside, in at least part of the foamed region, lengths in a bottle axial direction of the foam cells have such a length distribution that they gradually become shorter as a location of the foam cells shifts from the outer surface of the barrel part toward the center part and subsequently gradually become longer as the location shifts from the center part toward the inner surface.
