PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveguide capable of transmitting power and an in-vehicle communication system using the waveguide.SOLUTION: A waveguide 10 formed of a member capable of retaining its shape includes: a hollow waveguide body 11; and an inner peripheral conductive coating layer 12 provided in an inner periphery surface of the waveguide body 11 and transmits power through an inner space of the inner peripheral conductive coating layer 12 as a transmission path of an electromagnetic wave. The power is transmitted through electric wires W1, W2 arranged along an outer periphery of the waveguide body 11 as a power line and a ground line.
