PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal cycling device for promptly raising a temperature to a reaction temperature.SOLUTION: A thermal cycling device includes: a mounting part 1011 for mounting a reaction vessel 1 that is filled with a reaction liquid 40 and a liquid 30, and has a channel 110, in which the reaction liquid 40 moves along an opposite inner wall, and a sealing part 12 for sealing the channel 110; a first heating part 1012 for heating a first region 1111 of the channel 110 when the reaction vessel 1 is mounted on the mounting part 1011; a second heating part 1052 for heating the sealing part 12; and a driving mechanism for switching the arrangement of the first and second heating parts 1012, 1052 and the mounting part 1011 between a first arrangement and a second arrangement. The first arrangement is an arrangement wherein the first region is located in a lowermost part of the channel 110 in a direction in which the gravity acts, and the second arrangement is an arrangement wherein a second region of the channel 110, different in a position in a direction in which the reaction liquid 40 moves, is located in the lowermost part of the channel 110 in the direction in which the gravity acts. |
