PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector device having an insulation housing in which a plurality of contacts are arranged and placed on a wiring board, and a conductive shell covering it partially, and in which the part between both ends of the conductive shell in the contact arrangement direction is connected reliably with the ground potential part of the wiring board.SOLUTION: The connector device includes an insulation housing 11 being arranged on a wiring board 40 while forming a fitting protrusion 13 being fitted in the fitting recess of a receptacle connector, a plurality of signal contacts 15, a ground contact 16, and a conductive shell 12 partially covering the outside part of the fitting protrusion in the insulation housing. The conductive shell has a ground connection piece 14 formed at a part of the ground contact corresponding to a ground connection terminal 16a. The ground connection piece and the ground connection terminal of the ground contact are soldered to a ground terminal 26 provided on the common wiring board 40 and connected thereto. |
