PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fare box for efficiently using its side surface exposed to a passage at a door, and preventing its side cover exposed to the passage at the door from being scratched.SOLUTION: A fare box 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention has almost all area of its side cover 11a (exposed to a passage) covered with an advertisement display medium 20 displaying predetermined figures, letters, or signs. This enables the side surface exposed to a passage at a door, which has not been used efficiently so far, to be used efficiently. The advertisement display medium 20 is a thick seal capable of being stuck to the side cover 11a, or is accommodated in a sheet-like transparent case capable of being attached to and detached from the side cover 11a. Accordingly, the advertisement display medium 20 intervenes between the side cover 11a of the fare box 10 and passengers' belongings, which prevents the side cover 11a from being directly contacted by the passengers' belongings and being scratched when the passengers' belongings contact the side surface of the fare box 10 exposed to the passage. |
