This image processing device (10) is provided with: an input interface (11) which receives a first image and a second image in which the position of a subject in the images is offset in a specific direction; a color image generation unit (13a) which generates a color image in which the pixel values of each pixel in the first image are set to first color values and the pixel values of each pixel in the second image are set to second color values; a determination unit (13b) which determines the compatibility of the first and second images on the basis of an index value indicating the degree of shift of the first and second colors in the color image; and an image moving unit (13c) which, if it has been determined that the first and second images are not consistent, performs processing for moving the second image closer to the first image by replacing pixel values of each pixel of the second image with pixel values of pixels adjacent in the aforementioned specific direction.
