<p>Provided are an information processing device, information processing method, program and microscope system capable of combining with high precision multiple digital images and synthesizing wide-field, high-resolution microscopy images. By means of an image analysis unit provided in this information processing device, an overall image imaging the entire observation target region is divided into multiple regions, and it is determined in each region whether an observation target is present. Then, when imaging partial images of each region with magnification higher than that of the overall image, driving of the microscope is controlled such that, on the basis of the determination result of the image analysis unit, first partial images are imaged of regions in which the observation target may be present and which neighbor a region where the observation target may be present, and thereafter, second partial images are imaged in which the observation target may be present and which neighbor a region where the observation target is not present.</p> |
