PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which, while retaining appearance quality and strength, can restrain the deformation of a rear cabinet due to thermal expansion or thermal contraction.SOLUTION: The display device comprises a rectangular shaped display unit 2, a chassis 4 disposed on the rear side of the display unit 2, and a frame-like front cabinet 3 and rear cabinet 1 disposed on the front side and on the rear side of the display unit 2. The rear cabinet 1 has a plurality of fixation purpose open holes through which screws for fixation to the chassis 4 penetrate and comprises a plurality of rectangular shaped divided bodies 11, 12 and 13 juxtaposed in the longer direction and connection units which are provided along one side of each divided body to connect the divided bodies to each other. One of two coupled connection units has connection purpose open holes juxtaposed in a direction along the one side, and the other of the connection units has a plurality of insertion holes formed therein through which screws having penetrated the connection purpose open holes are inserted. The fixation purpose open holes are formed in such a way that their dimension in the longer direction is larger than the screws. |
