Disclosed are a path setting method and apparatus. The method includes: setting a media path between the first node and the second node. After the media path is set, setting a signal path between the third node and the fourth node, the signal path passes through a frequency matrix of the middle node between the third node and the fourth node, and traffic project links between two discretional nodes. Assigning frequency for the signal path from the usable frequency of traffic project links, therein, the frequency assigned includes multiple separated 50GHz frequencies, the multiple separated 50GHz frequencies assigned bear an optics channel, and each separated 50GHz frequency only includes a single optical carrier. By using this invention, the problem of how to effectively design and manage frequencies for the flexible grid technology which is introduced can be settled, and the efficiency of wave band frequency can be improved, simultaneously, it can compatible with the 50GHz transmit technology of the actual DWDM system. |
