A system and method for building an auto-journaling calendar application is provided. An advanced calendar application is able to allow users to track not only appointments but their daily lives with data tracking methods. A system of tracking contextual events in the calendar allows it to provide a rich and useful interface that provides a better overview of a person's life. In the exemplary calendar application a summary of information can also be provided to help focus and clarify the information to improve its relevance within the calendar application. |
