An electronic instrument, provided with: a display panel; a touch panel; and a piezoelectric vibration element which vibrates and thereby causing a cover panel provided to the front surface of the electronic instrument to vibrate. The electronic instrument is also provided with a controller for controlling the display panel and the touch panel, and causing the piezoelectric vibration element to vibrate on the basis of a sound signal. When the controller is about to start causing the piezoelectric vibration element to vibrate on the basis of a sound signal, the controller invalidates the function of the touch panel. |
