摘要 <p>The method involves obtaining a rider rotational torque requirement (60). The rider rotational torque requirement is smoothed. A diesel combustion engine (12) is commanded to produce output torque, which is smaller than one smoke bordering torque. A multiphase asynchronous alternative current electromotor (14) of a vehicle power train (10) is commanded to produce an output torque, which is equal to difference between the smoothed rider rotational torque and the output torque of the engine. The torque demanded by the engine and the electromotor is optimized. An independent claim is also included for a hybrid diesel-electric power train.</p>
