The electric motor (10) comprises a rotor (12) and a stator (20). The stator comprises several windings forming a coil head (22), such that each winding of electric motor is composed of several coils. A permanent magnet (34) is arranged in region of coil head at winding wire (46). A magnetic field sensor (52) is arranged at vicinity of the permanent magnet so as to detect magnetic field lines generated by the permanent magnet. An independent claim is included for method for determining the temperature in the winding head of electric motor.
