Catalyst system comprises a catalyst and a gas-permeable support. The catalyst is present in and/or on at least one partial hydrophobic coating. An independent claim is also included for producing the catalyst system, comprising (a) providing the support, (b) providing a solution of the hydrophobic coating in a suitable solvent, (c) coating the support with the solution of the hydrophobic coating, and (d) applying the catalyst on the coated surface of the support.
