<p>Provided are a diffuser for an inflator and an airbag device in which gas leaks can be reduced even in a structure having a gap between the inflator and a support member thereof. A diffuser (4) for an inflator has a tubular shape comprising a first opening (41) having a diameter capable of fitting with a head part (22) of an inflator (2) in which an orifice (21) is formed, and a second opening (42) having a larger diameter than the head part (22) of the inflator (2). When the first opening (41) is fitted to a position lower than the orifice (21), the second opening (42) is disposed in a position higher than the orifice (21), and is disposed so as to form a fixed gap (Deltag) with a top end part (Pr) of a surrounding part (31) of a retainer (3) disposed in the outer periphery of the head part (22) of the inflator (2).</p> |
