A method for manufacturing a color filter comprises the steps of: forming a black matrix layer (11) on a substrate (10), wherein the substrate includes a first area (M1), a second area (M2) and a third area (M3); forming a first color resistance layer (R) in the first area; forming a second color resistance layer (G) in the second area; forming a third color resistance layer (B) in the third area. The cure temperature of the first and second color resistance layers is lower than the cure temperature of the third color resistance layer. After being subjected to the third temperature treatment, the first, second and third color resistance layers are completely cured.
