<p>The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide: a method for producing a tablet, such as a carbonate-spring-type bath agent, which is so designed that a neutralization reaction can occur vigorously and efficiently in the inside of the tablet in spite of a fact that the pH value of an aqueous solution into which the tablet is dissolved is neutral, carbon dioxide gas bubbles having as small sizes as possible can be released continuously for a certain period of time and therefore a large portion of the generated carbon dioxide gas can be dissolved in water without dissipating the carbon dioxide gas to air to thereby increase the total concentration of carbon dioxide components in water, and the carbon dioxide gas that contacts with the skin can be converted into a bicarbonate ion readily due to the pH value of the aqueous solution so that the bicarbonate ion can be absorbed through the skin; and the tablet. The solution for the problem is a method for producing a tablet by carrying out compression molding in the presence of an organic acid in an amount of 1/10 to 1/3 of the amount of a bicarbonate salt (sodium bicarbonate or potassium bicarbonate) and polyethylene glycol in an amount of 1/100 to 1/5 of the amount of the bicarbonate salt, wherein the tablet is produced by compression molding in such a manner that an aqueous solution in which the tablet is dissolved can have a pH value of 5.5 to 8.5, the hardness of the tablet becomes 15 kg or more, and each of the diameter and the thickness direction of the tablet becomes 7 mm or more.</p> |
