PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a display panel which enables high production efficiency and formation of a narrow frame.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a display panel includes: a first process where a rectangle part 151 enclosing a display region 131 and four peripheral parts 152, 153, 154, 155 disposed at an outer periphery of the rectangle part 151 are provided on a first substrate by using a sealing material (145); and a second process where the first substrate and a second substrate are bonded to each other through the sealing material (145) to seal the display region 131. The peripheral parts 152, 153, 154, 155 are provided so that one-end side of each side 156, 157, 158, 159 forming the rectangle part 151 is extended, and each extended end is connected with another side 156, 157, 158, 159 of the rectangle part 151. |
