PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-water separator capable of enhancing the recovery efficiency of oil from oil-bearing water.SOLUTION: An oil-water separator 1 includes an outer container 2 having an inflow port 22 for the inflow of oil-bearing water and capable of storing the oil-bearing water, and a hollow fiber membrane element 3 disposed in the outer container 2 and capable of separating and recovering oil from the oil-bearing water. The hollow fiber membrane element 3 includes a hollow fiber membrane part 7 of longitudinal cylinder shape formed by bundling a plurality of longitudinal hydrophobic hollow fiber membranes 8 with the lower ends formed in a sealed state, and an oil collecting part 9 provided at an upper part of the hollow fiber membrane part 7 to store oil that has permeated the hydrophobic hollow fiber membranes 8. |
