PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost solid oxide fuel cell system, and to provide a method for stopping the solid oxide fuel cell system.SOLUTION: When a solid oxide fuel cell system stops power generation, a fuel electrode 111 in a cell stack 11 forms a circulation route together with a first recycling passage L1, a circulation passage L5, a second fuel passage L3, a gas reservoir 13, and a third fuel passage L4. Thus, the fuel electrode 111 is supplied with exhaust gas from itself and held in a reducing atmosphere. Therefore, the need is eliminated for keeping on supplying the fuel electrode 111 with fuel gas after power generation is stopped, or for providing a mechanism for supplying the fuel electrode 111 with purge gas, and the costs are reduced. |
