PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal bellows pump enhancing liquid replaceability by switching discharge steps and suction steps.SOLUTION: A horizontal bellows pump is constituted by attaching discharge side check valves 7 for sending liquid A of pump chambers 6 to a discharge passage 1 in a discharge step and suction side check valves 8 supplying liquid A from a suction passage 2 to the pump chambers 6 in a suction step to a pump head 3 so as to protrude to the pump chambers 6. Valve inlet passages 72 of the discharge side check valves 7 are opened to upper side pump chamber parts 61 being areas directly above the discharge side check valves 7, valve exit passages 82 of the suction side check valves 8 are opened to lower side pump chamber parts 62 being areas directly under the valve 8, the liquid A is made to flow from the upper side pump chambers 61 to the valve inlet passages 72 in the discharge step, the liquid A is made to flow from the valve exit passages 82 to the lower side pump chamber parts 62 in the suction step, thereby to prevent stagnation of the liquid A in both the pump chamber parts 61, 62. |
