PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development that has good cleanability and charge rising property, and excellent environmental stability, and an electrophotographic image forming method using the toner.SOLUTION: A toner for electrostatic charge image development contains toner base particles containing at least a binder resin, and toner particles containing an external additive. The external additive contains molten silica subjected to hydrophobic treatment with an alkyl alkoxy silane coupling agent represented by the following general formula (1): R-Si(OR); and the number average primary particle diameter of the molten silica is within a range of 60 to 300 nm. |
