摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of an oxide superconducting wire rod and a connection method of an oxide superconducting wire rod, which achieve high strength at a connection part compared to a connection structure and connection method in the past.SOLUTION: A connection structure of an oxide superconducting wire rod comprises: a pair of oxide superconducting wire rods in each of which an intermediate layer, an oxide superconducting layer and a stabilization layer are laminated on a tape-like base material and the base material near a connection end to be connected extends in a longer direction to form a base material exposed part; an oxide superconducting laminate for bonding in which an intermediate layer, an oxide superconducting layer and a stabilization layer are laminated on the tape-like base material; and a metal tape for bonding. The pair of oxide superconducting wire rods are arranged so as to make the base material exposed parts be adjacent to each other. The metal tape for bonding is metal bonded with the base material of the base material exposed parts so as to overstride the base material exposed parts. The stabilization layer of the oxide superconducting laminate for bonding is bridged over to overstride the stabilization layer of the adjacent oxide superconducting wire rods and bonded with each other by a conductive bonding material.
