A highly sensitive load detection device is provided with: a cylindrical peripheral wall part; a disk-shaped disk part in which a through-hole is formed coaxially with the peripheral wall part, and which is supported by the inner peripheral surface of the peripheral wall part with a gap from a mounting surface on which the peripheral wall part is mounted; a load input part, at least the shape of which on the side facing the through-hole is formed in the shape of globe with a diameter larger than the inner diameter of the through-hole, which is mounted in the through-hole, and to which the load of an object to be detected is inputted; and sensors which are disposed in the disk part so as to be point-symmetric with respect to the through-hole, and detects distortion corresponding to the load inputted to the load input part. |
