<p>Provided are a color-converting substrate and a liquid crystal display device that enable a manufacturing process to be simplified, and in which deviations in the distribution of the intensity of light are reduced. The color-converting substrate is provided with: a transparent substrate (40) having a first main surface; a layer of phosphors (45R) disposed on the first main surface, said layer containing a plurality of phosphors (45R) arranged along the first main surface, and a plurality of transparent first partition walls (18R) formed in such a manner as to surround the periphery of the phosphors (45R); and a plurality of first reflection sections (28) formed on the outer peripheral surface of the plurality of first partition walls (18R). A portion of each first partition wall (18R), where each first reflection section (28) is formed, is a curved surface, and, if the thickness of each partition wall (18R) is denoted as d1, the curvature of the curved surface of the partition wall (18R) is 0.50/d1 to 0.83/d1.</p> |
