The method involves removing a portion of a flowable alcohol-containing filling material as a cleaning agent and/or disinfection mediums, and dipping empty vessels, bottles, canisters or containers and closures with the removed portion. The portion used as the cleaning agent and/or disinfection mediums is collected. The vessels, bottles, canisters or containers are filled with remaining portion of the filling material. The filled vessels, bottles, canisters or containers are sealed with the cleaned and/or disinfected closures. The closures are designed as screw-type caps, capsules, crown corks, corks, stoppers and caps. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for producing a flowable alcohol-containing filling material (2) a flowable alcohol-containing filling material.
