CONFERENCING SERVER DEVICE AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid allocation of unnecessary resources and also prevent abnormality in some conference room from affecting the other conference room.SOLUTION: A conferencing server device 1 comprises server call control means 12 which receives a call transmitted from a terminal requesting that a conference be held and controls the received call and process control means 14 which allocates resources in response to the request that a conference be held and activates a conferencing process. The server call control means 12 hands over the call from the terminal to the conferencing process after the conferencing process is activated and, when the call is connected between the conferencing process and the terminal, disconnects the call to and from the terminal. The conferencing process includes media processing means for transmitting and receiving media information to and from the terminal and process call control means for controlling the call to and from the terminal which was handed over from the server call control means 12.
