PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endless belt having excellent flexibility on a belt surface and stable surface roughness on the belt surface at a relatively small value.SOLUTION: An endless belt 1 comprises a tubular base layer 2 made of a resin and a rubber elastic layer 3 layered on an outer circumference of the base layer 2 and containing rubber and filler. The surface of the rubber elastic layer 3 is regarded as a belt surface and shows 20-degree mirror glossiness of 50% or more measured in accordance with JIS Z8741. The rubber elastic layer 3 is formed of a cured product of a liquid composition comprising rubber and filler. In the above liquid composition, a granular material preferably has a 50%-particle diameter dof 0.1 to 1 μm and a 90%-particle diameter das twice or less than twice the 50%-particle diameter d. The endless belt 1 is preferably used for an image forming apparatus employing an electrophotographic process. |
