PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phthalocyanine dye broad in the absorption wavelength range in the near infrared region and good in the phtoelectric conversion efficiency, and a photoelectric conversion device and a dye-sensitized solar cell using the same.SOLUTION: A phthalocyanine dye is represented by formula (1), wherein A is an alkyl group or an aryl group; Z is an oxygen, sulfur or selenium atom; M is two hydrogen atoms, or atoms or an atom group covalently or coordinately bondable to phthalocyanine; Y is a monovalent substituent; and n is an integer of 1 to 4.
