PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-seat power slide device that can prevent a screw rod supported by a lower rail, from being deformed in a more effective manner, when inertia force caused by a collision of a vehicle acts on an upper rail.SOLUTION: A power slide device for a vehicle seat include: a front support member 23 fixed to a lower rail 16; a screw rod 22 having a front part supported by the front support member; a rear support member 37 having a rear orthogonal plate portion 39 with a rear through hole 40, and a fixed plate portion 38 fixed to the lower rail; movement regulating means 34, 45 for regulating the screw rod relatively moving the rear support member; a worm wheel 53 having a male screw hole where the screw rod screws and penetrates, and rotated by power of a driving means; and a collision load receiving portion 32 which regulates forward tilting of the rear orthogonal plate portion by contact with the base surface of the lower rail when a force is applied on the screw rod forwardly from the worm wheel. |
