PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of displaying a three-dimensional geometric positional relationship intelligibly, in particular a relationship between a blood vessel cross-sectional image and a blood vessel projection image intelligibly, and to provide an image display method, and an X-ray diagnostic therapeutic apparatus and an image display method for the same.SOLUTION: An image creating section 16 creates a cross-sectional image and a projection image from volume data acquired by a CT volume data acquiring section 11. A projection direction of a radiating direction on the cross-sectional image created by the image creating section 16 is computed by an arithmetic section 15. The created cross-sectional image and projection image are displayed on a monitor 36 through a display control section 19. When a specific point on the cross-sectional image displayed on the monitor 36 is designated by an operating part 13, a projection image viewed from the direction of the designated specific point is displayed on the monitor 36. |
