PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality without causing irregularities in an image.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a first conveyance part; an intermediate transfer belt on which a developer image is transferred in a primary transfer part; a second conveyance part comprising a first conveyance member for forming a nip part between the intermediate transfer belt and the first conveyance member, and for forming a second transfer part for transferring the developer image to a medium; and a medium guiding part for guiding the medium toward the second conveyance part. The first conveyance member is arranged facing a surface on which the developer image on the intermediate transfer belt is transferred, and the medium guiding part guides the medium toward the first conveyance member on the second conveyance part and firstly abuts the medium on the first conveyance member without abutting the medium on the intermediate transfer belt. Since the medium is firstly abutted on the first conveyance member, a front end of the medium is not oriented in a different direction from a conveyance direction even if vibration or the like is generated in association with conveyance of the medium. |
