PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble imidazole adduct type latent curing accelerator simply producible and micronizable, having good potentiality, and excellent in both storage stability and curability of the resin composition; a production method thereof; and an epoxy resin composition using the accelerator.SOLUTION: A water-soluble imidazole adduct type latent curing accelerator is obtained by reacting 1-benzyl-2-methylimidazole with a liquid epoxy resin in water. A production method of the accelerator and an epoxy resin composition using the accelerator are also disclosed. |
