[Class 79 (i)] Endless-track shoes of the type having two transverse cylindrical bearing pins have the ends of adjacent pins linked together by a connector comprising a sheet metal stamping having a laterally extending boss provided with bearing surfaces for the two pins, and a second sheet metal stamping secured to the first and having an offset guide portion extending laterally in a direction away from the first stamping. The shoes 2 have transverse bearing pins 3 which are engaged at their ends by connectors comprising a metal stamping 6 having a boss 19 with two holes to accommodate the ends of the pins 3, the member 6 being secured, e.g. by welding round its edges, to a second metal stamping 8 comprising a dished portion 9 offset and bent away from the first member. The pins 3 may be secured by a wedge 4 and nut 18 in known manner. |
