The apparatus (3400) has a processor (3403) for controlling a transceiver (3401) to transfer signals to determine whether an uplink transmission meets a pre-defined criterion based on a part of a filter characteristic of a filter of another transceiver (3402), a transmission power and channel information. Another processor (3404) controls the latter transceiver to receive the signals. The former processor provides an instruction signal that indicates whether the latter processor controls the latter transceiver to receive or not receive the signals when the transmission meets the criterion. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a wireless communication apparatus.
