PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the radiation dose from becoming excessive in the radiotherapy.SOLUTION: A therapy plan supporting apparatus includes: a data storage part; an image storage part 128; a tissue region determining part; a therapy plan making part 104; a comparison part; and a display part 120. The data storage part 128 stores tissue region data indicating a plurality of tissue regions in a human body and a permissible dose relative to the radiation in each tissue region. The image storage part 108 stores image data of a subject. The tissue region determining part determines a tissue region from the image data of the subject on the basis of the tissue region data. The therapy plan making part 104 finds a condition for irradiating the subject with therapeutic radiation, and a dose distribution in the condition for irradiation. The comparison part compares a permissible dose corresponding to the tissue region determined by the tissue region determining part with the dose distribution. The display part 120 displays information reflecting the result of comparison by the comparison part.
