PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel with enhanced maintainability.SOLUTION: A lens barrel has: a fixed cylinder which holds a plurality of lens groups constituting a main optical system; an extender which is rotatably held by the fixed cylinder and arranged among the plurality of lens groups; a first shaft which rotates the extender centering on a first axis in parallel with an optical axis and causes the extender to be inserted into or retracted from an optical path; a second shaft which transmits rotation to the first shaft by rotating centering on a second axis in parallel with the optical axis; and an exterior member which is attached to the fixed cylinder. The second shaft is attached to the exterior member, and the rotation of the second shaft is transmitted to the first shaft by attachment of the exterior member to the fixed cylinder. |
