PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user convenience of a communication terminal which can make one radio LAN communication interface exclusively function for either one of a radio master unit and a radio slave unit.SOLUTION: A portable communication device 20 comprises a mobile communication interface 50 which can communicate data via a mobile communication network and a radio LAN interface 60 which can operate exclusively as a radio slave unit or a radio master unit to communicate by radio. The portable communication device 20 can exert control in a radio slave unit mode in which the radio LAN interface 60 is made to operate as a radio slave unit and a radio master unit mode in which a communicated packet is relayed via the mobile communication interface 50 and the radio LAN interface 60 and also the radio LAN interface 60 is made to operate as a radio master unit. The radio slave unit mode and the radio master unit mode are autonomously switched from one to the other depending on a communication environment. |
