PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a high-speed social search using a large-scale social network.SOLUTION: A dispersion information control device performing a social search identifying top N documents to a social network stored in a dispersed computer and divided into a plurality of clusters and a document group comprises upper search means for: receiving an input of information identifying a searcher, a search condition and the number-of-searches N; identifying a cluster of the social network to which the searcher belongs; comparing a top N score resulting from performing a search to a document group allocated to a computer to which the identified cluster is allocated with an upper limit value of a score obtainable by a document belonging to other cluster; completing a search process when the former is higher and outputting a search result; continuing the search in the other cluster when the latter is higher and updating the search result; and performing a process of enlarging a search target cluster until a ranking of the top N number remains unchanged.
