PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the reduction of a speed of forming an image as a whole while reducing a margin between pages.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a conveying part which carries out the conveying operation of conveying a medium in a conveying direction; a sensor which detects a position of a reference mark of the medium in the conveying direction; a nozzle array which has a plurality of nozzles for jetting ink on the medium arranged in a direction along the conveying direction and carries out the jetting operation of jetting the ink on the medium by moving in an intersecting direction intersecting the conveying direction; and a control part which controls the jetting operation and the conveying operation. The control part corrects a transition conveyance amount of the conveying operation between the last jetting operation for forming an image on a first page and the first jetting operation on a second page as the next page to the first page out of conveyance amounts of the medium in the conveying operation based on a detection position of the reference mark. The transition conveyance amount is smaller than an interval between a nozzle on an uppermost stream side and a nozzle on a most downstream side in the conveying direction in the nozzle array. |
