The blade (10) has a support element (12) for receiving a wiping strip (14), at which a connection device is fastened. The connection device comprises a plastic wiper-blade-side part with claw-like retainers, which embrace the support element in sections. An intermediate part is arranged between the retainers and the support element. The intermediate part is firmly connected with the support element and with the connection device in a rested and form-fit manner. The intermediate part is welded with the support element and bent in a resilient manner. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a wiper blade.
